Chempol® Recycled Rubber Binder Systems
Applications

Designed specifically as a single pack, moisture-curing binder for crumb or shred rubber. Mixtures of rubber and binder are used for the manufacture of a variety of products. Applications include, rubber “shock pads” for sports surfaces, walking paths or playgrounds, recycled rubber tiles and mats, gaskets, sound deadening underlays and for moulding recycled rubber components such as speed humps and traffic barriers.

Binders are suitable for both ambient curing or accelerated steam curing.

Systems are also available for use as binders of other particulate or fibrous materials such as wood chip, wood dust, EPDM rubber, PVC chip, coconut fibre or textile fibres. These materials can be bound to form compressed construction panels, coloured EPDM rubber or PVC mats, loose fibre containment or filtration mats, high porosity soil stabilising mats etc.
