| Chemfoam® Specialty Pour Foam
Systems |
| Applications |
| A range of rigid, pour-in-place/injection
foam systems is available for insulation, void
and cavity filling. Systems have been developed
for use in many market sectors, such as hot water
storage, cold-water storage, domestic appliance
and commercial refrigeration, low temperature
and ultra low temperature storage/pipe insulation.

| Features |
| Our Chemind Hi-Tec Polymers Chemfoam®
specialty pour foam systems offer the following
features:
- Densities from 25 kg/m3 to over 100 kg/m3.
- Available in standard polyurethane, fire
retarded polyurethane or polyisocyanurate grades.
- Excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates.
- Application specific reaction profiles, high
yield and superior foam flow characteristics.
- Low ODP/low GWP/zero VOC, zero ODP/low GWP/zero
VOC and zero ODP/zero GWP/zero VOC systems are
available.
- High dimensional stability and physical properties.
- Designed for processing through standard
low pressure or high pressure plural component
dispensing equipment.
- Application specific systems are available
as follows.
- Hot Water Storage - designed to give optimal
thermal and physical performance at temperatures
of up to 100ºC. These systems have
been formulated to give superior foam flow
properties, resulting in consistent foam
density and excellent fill, with the minimum
of foam required.
- Cold Water Storage & Commercial Refrigeration
- designed to give optimal thermal and physical
performance at temperatures down to -20ºC.
- Domestic Appliance - designed to give
optimal thermal and physical performance
at temperatures down to -20ºC. These
systems have been formulated to give superior
foam flow properties, resulting in consistent
foam density and excellent fill of thin
wall refrigerator carcases and coolers.
- Low Temperature Storage and Pipe Insulation
- designed to give optimal thermal and physical
performance at temperatures down to -100ºC.
- Ultra Low Temperature Storage and Pipe
Insulation - designed to give optimal thermal
and physical performance at cryogenic temperatures
down to -196ºC. These systems have
been developed to withstand the rigours
of LNG plant insulation where extreme stresses
are applied to the insulation and the highest
possible thermal and fire resistance is
required.
- As with all of our products, systems can be
specifically formulated to suit your requirements
and process
