| Chemfoam® Rigid Insulated Panel
Foam Systems |
| Applications |
| Designed for use in the production
of insulated construction panels for commercial/domestic
building & cold store manufacture and insulated
truck bodies.
There are two main Chemfoam® product types,
Insulated panel injection foam systems and EPS
(expanded polystyrene) panel adhesive systems:
- Insulated panel injection foam systems - where
a rigid insulating foam system is injected between,
and moulded onto, an inner and outer skin. The
skins are typically protective or decorative
facing materials such as pre-painted, galvanised
or Zincalume coated steel, fibrocement sheet,
plywood sheet, fibreglass tissue or thin polymeric/metallic
foils.
- EPS insulated panel adhesive systems –
where rigid polyurethane foam is applied as
a thin adhesive film between the EPS sheet and
a protective facing material such as pre-painted,
galvanised or Zincalume coated steel, fibrocement
sheet, plywood sheet, or thin polymeric/metallic
foils.
