| Designed for the discontinuous
production of large rigid foam blocks which, after
curing, can be cut into sheets of various thicknesses,
or profile cut into numerous shapes.
Low-density sheet foam is commonly used as insulation
board in the building construction industry and
as insulation or buoyancy in the marine industry.
Sheet foam can be bonded to other materials to
form rigid insulation panels, or can be GRP encapsulated
to form lightweight, high strength composite construction
panels.
Medium density sheet foam finds application
as structural or semi-structural members in the
building construction and marine industries.
Profile cut material is often used as pipe insulation
or as decorative architectural items.
Other application areas include the production
of specialised open celled foam blocks used for
flower arranging and for the production of free-form
sculpted objects for use in theme parks etc.
