They are commonly used for the production of high strength moulds used in the manufacture of pre-cast concrete panels, pavers and concrete stencilling.

Systems are also available for use as moulding compounds for the production of various components used in the automotive, marine, appliance, electrical, theme park and model making industries.

Our Chemind Hi-Tec Polymers Chemcast™ unfilled cold cure cast elastomer systems offer the following features:

• Room temperature processing and curing.
• Elevated temperature post curing is not necessary.
• System can be post cured at 50°C to 90°C for 4 to 16 hours if desired.
• Contains no TDI or MOCA.
• Can be an economical alternative to other types of moulding materials such as silicone rubber.
• Available in a range of Shore hardness (20 °A to 90 °D).
• Available in a range of gel times (seconds to hours).
• Available in standard or fire retarded grades.
• Low exotherm & low shrinkage.
• High tensile & tear resistance.
• Good resistance to water, petrol, kerosene, oils, many chemicals and microbes.
