Chemfoam® - Packaging Foams

Description
Fast reacting, very low density, semi-rigid foams designed as economical pour-in-place packaging foams and cavity filling materials.
They offer maximum protection to fragile items due to excellent cushioning and damping characteristics.

Uses

• Protection of very delicate or high value items during transport and storage
• Also finds application in non-load bearing, cavity filling operations such as filling of disused fuel storage tanks

Features

• Densities from 8 kg/m³ to 20 kg/m³
• Available in standard or fire retarded grades
• Ability to cushion fragile objects plus damp out vibration and impact
• Excellent moulding properties and foam flow
• High reactivity, fast cure and low shrinkage rate
• Designed for processing through low or high pressure plural component dispensing equipment
• As with all of our products, systems can be specifically formulated to suit your requirements and process
