Chemfoam® - NVH Flexible Foams
Description
Specialised low and medium density foam systems developed specifically for sound attenuation and Noise-Vibration-Harshness (NVH) control in automotive & transport applications. These systems have replaced traditional cotton felt lining systems and perform more effectively with greatly reduced weight.
Exposed foam surfaces can be completely waterproofed using polyurethane film mould liners or spray in place polyurethane membrane coatings.
Uses
- Production of composite moulded sound attenuating backings to automotive carpets, door liners, head liners and under-dash panels
- Reduction of metal, plastic or fibreboard panel vibration

- Designed for processing through low or high pressure plural component dispensing equipment
- Densities from 40 kg/m³ to 100 kg/m³
- Available in standard or fire retarded grades
- Excellent moulding properties and foam flow
