Chemfoam® - Energy Absorbing Foams
Description
Medium and high density Energy Absorbing (EA) semi-rigid foam systems, specifically engineered for the moulding of automotive crash padding.
Formulated to absorb and dissipate energy of impact or dampen harmonic vibration.
Uses
- Production of moulded crash padding on interior panels, dashboards and other automotive, transport & marine related components
- Suitable for conventional moulding processes where the foam is injected between a tough, spray applied or “slush moulded” thermoplastic, outer skin and the inner structural supporting member of the dashboard or component

- Densities from 50 kg/m³ to 200 kg/m³
- Available in standard or fire retarded grades
- Excellent moulding properties and foam flow
