Chempol™ - Benching Adhesives

Description
Single-pack, moisture-curing polyurethane adhesives designed specifically for bonding of stainless steel, galvanised steel or compressed fibre cement sheet to plywood or timber bench tops, splash backs and cabinetry in commercial & domestic applications.
Used as a replacement to traditional epoxy adhesives, Chempol® Benching Adhesives offer fast cure, penetration into timber and porous substrates plus good key to roughened metal surfaces.  Further, these products are designed with a degree of flexibility, allowing the adhesive to accommodate differential movement between stainless steel and the plywood substructure.  The adhesives also have good resistance to localised heat making them well suited to kitchen environments.

Uses

• Lamination of stainless steel work surfaces to plywood or timber bench tops and cabinetry
• Lamination of compressed fibre cement sheet to plywood, stainless steel and galvanised steel sheet for production of heat resistant splash backs
