1. Chemind – Newflex

Description: Liquid Waterproofing Membrane – A premium quality, one-part, seam-free, permanently elastic, water-based synthetic rubber membrane with CSIRO Appraisal 162. It is non-hazardous, does not require metal flashings, bonds totally to the surface and bridges cracks in the substrate and can be applied over most construction materials. Used with Epocote F100W primer for all exposed deck membrane systems. It is compatible with Chemind Chem-Fix adhesives and Chemind Sound-Shield sound deadening acoustic underlay system. It may be painted or rendered over. Areas subject to continuous traffic are finished with Chemind Tuffcote Duratop.

2. Chemind – Tuffcote Duratop

Description: Trafficable Non-Slip Membrane - Tough, UV resistant, non-hazardous, coloured, slip-resistant, water based, trafficable coating. It is specifically designed for use over Chemind Newflex waterproof membrane as an exposed, durable system on suspended concrete slabs.
Uses: Plant Room Floors, Box Gutters, Roofing, Balconies & Terrace Decks, Car Park Decks, Podium Slabs.

Covered: Topping, Paving, Tiles, PP Grass, Landscaped, Insulated (Thermal or Acoustic)

Cover with PE slip-sheet and concrete topping; paving slabs on Chemind Multi-Pads; Ceramic Tiles bonded with Chemind Chem-Fix adhesives; PP Synthetic Grass; Chemind Rapid-Drain and Landscaping; Chemind Protectoboard and 50mm thick 12mm stone ballast; Roofmate™ IRMA Thermal Insulation or Acoustic Insulation using Chemind Sound-Shield.

2. Grace – Bituthene® 3000

Description: Sheet Waterproofing Membrane – High performance, guaranteed waterproofing membrane with 36 Years of Proven Success Worldwide. Original cold applied, non-hazardous, 1.5mm thick double layer, self-adhesive rubber-bitumen membrane technology developed by
W.R. Grace. It does not release toxic fumes during installation, is extremely flexible and will accommodate differential movement throughout life of structure. Unaffected by wet weather and may be immediately covered with concrete topping, paving, sand filled PP Grass, Chemind Rapid-Drain and Landscaping, Roofmate™ IRMA Thermal Insulation or Acoustic Insulation using
Chemind Sound-Shield.
Uses: Lift Pits, Roofing, Balconies & Terrace Decks, Planter Boxes, Paved Car Park Decks, Podium Slabs, Basement Retaining Walls, Basement Floor Slabs.

3. Grace – Ice & Water-Shield® (GIWS)

Description: Sheet Waterproofing Underlay – One of the W.R. Grace Bituthene® family, it is cold applied, non-hazardous, self-adhesive sheet underlay developed specifically as a waterproof barrier over plywood sub-structure to be covered by metal roofing (copper, stainless, aluminium and steel) as well as singles, slate, brush and timber slab. Protects plywood from water damage by condensation or wind driven ingress. Resists high and low temperatures, is extremely flexible and accommodates movement for life of structure.
Uses: Roofing.

4. Chemind – Multi-Pads

Description: Paving Supports - UV resistant, moulded plastic support pad with “X” spacing fins. Used to seat concrete paving slabs directly on Chemind roof and deck membrane systems or over Roofmate IRMA thermal insulation.
Uses: Roofing, Balconies & Terrace Decks.

5. Chemind – Newflex

6. Grace – Procor® 75

Description: Liquid Rubber Membrane – World patented technology from W. R. Grace - a spray applied, two-part liquid, cold applied, self-flashing, fast cure elastomeric latex polymer. Quickly covers large areas giving a tough rubber, waterproof barrier to prevent root penetration.
Chemind Rapid Drain or Protectoboard can be laid immediately allowing rapid finishing. Does not generate toxic fumes, does not contain isocyanates and will accommodate differential movement throughout the service life of the structure.
Cover with concrete topping; paving slabs on Chemind Multi-Pads; mortar or sand bed; Landscaping or IRMA Thermal Insulation using Roofmate™; Acoustic Insulation using Chemind Sound-Shield or other paving systems.
Uses: Lift Pits, Pools & Water Features, Roofing, Balconies & Terrace Decks, Planter Boxes, Hobs & Sills, Podium Slabs, Basement Retaining Walls.

7. Dow – Roofmate™

Description: Thermal Insulation – Exceptionally high R-Value, extruded closed-cell, rigid polystyrene foam board made by Dow Chemical. Guaranteed insulation and energy savings for the life of the building. Totally resists water absorption and vapour diffusion. Used with Chemind and Grace membranes for IRMA (Inverted Roof Membrane Assembly) systems. It can be covered with gravel, landscaping, concrete or paving slabs supported by Chemind Multi-Pads.
Uses: Roofing, Balconies & Terrace Decks.

8. Chemind – Sound-Shield

Description: Acoustic Insulation - Polymer bound, granular rubber acoustic underlay system. It absorbs impact and vibration on concrete, ceramic tile or other rigid paving - preventing transmission through suspended roof decks to habitable spaces below. Uses Chemind Sound-Shield Mat and Chem-Fix adhesives.
Uses: Bathrooms & Wet Areas, Kitchens, Plant Room Floors, Roofing, Balconies & Terrace Decks.
